Threepio always seems to get the short end of the stick. Saddest droid ever. I <3 the Solo kids! Crazy shenanigans ensue. I love Chewie in this, he's so patient even when they blackmail him into fixing Threepio. Also, I like the references you made to the absent parents. Can something be in character if they're not present? Spy films and bar fights. The last few lines are a little painful. I read the LOTF books during the school year to get away from heavy Aristotle and Dante readings but found myself more depressed by them. Not to say they weren't good - Ben holds a special place in my heart.
